We got ours a little more than two months ago, and we have really enjoyed it. The novelty of a table made from a film reel and tripod makes it the perfect addition to our home theater room. Since we've got it, just about everyone who sees it mentions what a cool little table it is. Ours is on carpet, and yet it is very stable. The surface area is a little small, but ideal for 2-3 drinks and/or your TV/Blu-ray remotes.Right now, the only other review on this product is largely negative, but all the issues seem rooted in the bad packaging of what was a re-used version of this item (e.g., a seller -- not product -- issue). Ours was new and has been great. In fact, we are contemplating getting a second one to accompany our love seat as well.

I ordered this from Warehouse Deals with the awareness that packaging "may" be damaged. When it arrived I was surprised to find the box in such great shape. When I opened the box, I realized the damaged original box was inside, and it was looking rough. I was afraid to open it, knowing there was a glass top table inside. Never-the-less, all parts were undamaged and accounted for. Points for great packaging, even when wrecked, not so many points for product quality.OK, so this table is made of cheap metal that can easily be bent by hand. The "reel" was all bent out of shape making the 2 sides of the reel not paralell to each other, and when I tried bending it back, the weak soldering points started to crack, so I gave up. It has about the metal strength of a wire coat hanger - no kidding. The legs are not adjustable, not that the seller claimed them to be, but I thought they were just going by the picture. The paint is a really flat matte black...again, not the seller misrepresenting, but going from the picture, I assumed it was more of a black with distressed highlights.The black paint was flaking off the reel on the surface side that faces up through the glass.The glass table top is held in place by 3 suction cups that look a bit tacky showing through the glass. They stick to the glass just fine, but tend not to stay in the holes in the reel making the glass top very easy to knock right off. Speaking of the glass top - it's 14" not 15" as the description states. Yeah, it's only one inch, but it actually makes a difference in a table this small. I would really like the extra inch surface space!Finally, it's incredibly wobbly and unstable. The reel was securely held to the base, but see that smaller metal circle where the legs attach? At that connection the legs were a stability nightmare. I wouldn't have dared set anything on this table. I had to flip the table over and use some of that great Amazon cardboard packaging to stuff all around the leg joints just to keep them from wobbling. As it is now, I have 1 3" candle setting on this table. That's all I feel comfortable testing the limits of my cardboard construction repairs with. Maybe I could put a drink on this table...if it was water...and if I moved the candle off it first...and made sure the cup wasn't too full...and placed it dead center of the table.Aesthetically, it passes, if you don't look too close, but I would have preferred spending my money on a functional piece of furniture that looked nice.
